ʳɫ¹ÙÍø's mission supports the study of the arts as an important part of a liberal arts education.

The college offers state-of-the-art venues for the arts, where students share the stage, gallery and performance hall with professional artists.

A 600-seat proscenium theatre, the Duke Family Performance Hall is housed in the Knobloch Campus Center and is the largest performing arts venue on campus.

Home to both Art History and Studio Art, the Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Art Center (VAC) includes the Van Every/Smith Galleries, AV-equipped lecture hall, seminar room, and studios for art majors and faculty.
