Community-Based Learning Courses
There are a number of regularly offered courses at Davidson that include community-based learning components or focus on social action themes.
In community-based learning courses at Davidson, course objectives and the community-based experience or project are clearly connected; students reflect critically on the experiences and are assessed based on academic competencies; there is collaboration with community partners that has reciprocal value for students and community; and the community component meets a community-defined need.
