College Relations

The College Relations division works closely with external audiences (alumni, parents, friends, business and industry) to engage them in the life of the college and form partnerships in support of Davidson's highest aspirations.

Advancement Operations

Advancement Operations oversees the alumni and donor database, provides data management and reporting services to support fundraising and engagement activities of the college. In addition, the team manages technology needs and trainings.

The Advancement Services model allows for centralized data entry, event registrations, biographical updates, gift processing, pledge entry and receipting.

Engagement

The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement connects alumni, families and friends to the college and to each other through formal and informal programs on and off campus.

Donor Relations seeks to strengthen the ties between the college and the community. The office serves those who give their time, money and service to the college, overseeing activities such as gift acknowledgment, donor recognition and stewardship.

Campus & Community Relations

Friends of the Arts is a program within Davidson Arts and Creative Engagement that informs and energizes audiences for the arts at the college, strengthens the bonds between the college and the larger community and serves as a unifying cultural force in the region.

 is a public radio service of ʳɫ¹ÙÍø and is licensed to the college's trustees. WDAV is one of the most highly regarded public radio providers of classical music.

The Corporate and Foundation Relations Office cultivates, secures, and stewards external institutional grant funds (scholarships, capital gifts, sponsorships, and matching gifts) for programs that are consistent with college priorities.

The Events and Programming Office plans events that are directly tied to ʳɫ¹ÙÍø goals and initiatives. Additionally, they oversee programming decisions to best align events with audiences and stakeholders.

Development

 exists to raise operating, scholarship, and capital funds to support more than 420 student athletes who represent Davidson Athletics in 21 different competitive NCAA Division I sports.

 works with parent volunteers and leaders to raise money for the college.

 is the college's annual giving program. It supports every student, faculty member and program on campus and gives Davidson the flexibility to remain current and respond to the college's ever-changing needs, while maintaining our commitment to preparing students for lives of leadership and service.

 assists donors with a variety of giving methods designed to benefit both the college and the donor.

The Research and Prospect Management Office provides information to the president's office, development staff, and alumni office with regard to demographic trends, alumni activities, and donor support.

Advancement Communications leads storytelling and messaging efforts related to fundraising, the Game Changers campaign and engagement initiatives.

The Major Gifts Office is responsible for cultivating relationships with alumni, parents and friends in an effort to facilitate philanthropic investment in Davidson. Major gift officers work with donors who make significant commitments in support of the college's mission.

The Office of Principal Gifts is responsible for the management of relationships with Davidsonʳɫ¹ÙÍø™s lead philanthropic partners in support of institutional priorities.
